Yes.

The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) and the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) establish the legal framework for digital signatures. Electronic signatures carry the same weight and legal effect as traditional paper documents and handwritten signatures.
